This is a post for both scans of many pages of and a brief summary and rambling about the Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles Art of Arts book.

And a couple of people from the Resident Evil communities said they'd get to scanning it for me. :3 But yes, if anyone can give me high-quality DPI scans of this from the Archives book (since I wanna make an icon from the finish colored picture so baaad it's so cute) I would totally call that an even trade. |D

Speaking of high-quality, some of these are going on my minitokyo and animepaper accounts on higher DPI (some of them don't look very good in HQ though :\)-- and my account on both sites is Yzak, if anybody wants to keep an eye out for when I get around to it.

Okay first. There was a surpraise ANON RAID TODAY. I did not know about it, but as I was walking down Broadway to pick up my paycheck, I see FAMILIAR FACES. So I wound up hanging until like 11:00. The funniest part was being carded for getting two guys drinks in a deli, when they looked much older than me and most likely wouldn't have been carded even though THEY'RE the ones who were underaged while I look 17. XD I had a great time.

And now, CONSIDERING I MOVED FROM yzak to gaignun (lol those will be swapped soon. unless I keep spending nameswap money on MORE SHINY THINGS hello RE artbook and Yzak/Lacus doujin) I am posting results from BOTH OF MAH JOURNALS FOR THIS. So mathstuff you can DO YOURSELF AND FIND OUT WHAT PLACE YOU COME IN. (I had to trim the end of the old journal this, sorry. XD LJ won't let me post it all)

So this morning the Tony Nominations were announced! I've only worked at three of these in any catgories (I would have worked the Little Mermaid but I was booked for a night already when they called :(), but I'm glad to see Cry-Baby as one of the runners for Best Musical. Even though I think In the Heights will probably take it.

Of the four musicals, I wonder which numbers they're going to perform live at the actual Tony's. Like I mentioned already, the Just A Little Upset jail number was one of my favorites in Cry-Baby, so I am hoping they go for that one. Or at least one of the better ones from the show. Just anything so I can MAKE YOU ALL WATCH IT to see the hotness that is the lead. \o\ As for In the Heights (which is releasing a cast album next month, ooooh), I liked the $96,000 and the Club/Fireworks numbers so I hope they go with either of those.

I am also le'sad that Snyder didn't get nominated for Best Male Lead for musicals for Cry-Baby. ;.; Or any of the cast in those categories (or many categories in GENERAL, but). Bawww.

But yeah, that'd be all! Other than this icon being adorable.

1) So I called in to work at Grease the other night-- and was openminded! I never really, cared for Grease. At all. And even giving it a try when I went to work there, I probably can't repeat anything from the show because I completely zoned out and was so bored. I only knew a couple of songs since they're really popular songs and I've heard them before in other incarnations, but. Yeah. XD

MOSTLY ON THIS FRONT, as if Russel working at In The Heights wasn't OMG WHAT weird, Brendan works at Grease! I went to elementary school with him from kinder - 8th grade and a little while in high school. So it was like AHHH HEY WHAT'S UP. I keep wondering WHO AM I GOING TO SEE NEXT-- one kid I went to summer camp with works at Wicked still but. they still haven't called meeeee BAWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!

2) Today was another anon raid! And it was great fun. Our numbers were pretty thin compared to all of the other protests, but we still made the best of it. Saw Cute Guy! 8D We had two locations and DEAR GOD one of the guys I work with at the theater RIGHT THERE came up to us. A-AWKWARD? One of our anon's lives got made because-- I. There was a Sean Bell protest marching down Broadway and we crossed paths and dear God. Someone had a sign of a quote by L Ron (one of the nastier ones about African Americans), and the other protestors, some of them were Black Panthers and oh my god one of the guys took this guy's sign and we had like a PROTEST MERGING MOMENT. The guy who had the sign originally was in TOTAL AWE like "did that just fucking happen? A Black Panther just read my sign to people. I think my life is made."

We had a fun subway ride in which we SANG. A WHOLE LOT on our train car, I felt so bad for the people who were NOT with us on that train. XD And then we hit up the Celebrity Center-- had caek and pizza and generally had fun. One of the ladies working on that SP Hall postcard thing was there, and we all wrote postcards for that. I had a great time!

3) And then I was in a great mood (but I've been in a good one, oddly, despite a lot of things. It's the weirdest feeling ever) and was going in to work at Cry-Baby again. ALL EXCITED because like I posted about here, HOTTIE. HOTTIE!! B-But the lead had an understudy tonight. TOTAL BONER KILLER sob. I mean, I the understudy was awesome and I love the show in general. But man that's the downfall of fangirling theater (especially when you work there), because I ATTACH TO THINGS. And actors in shows don't stay in them forever, so when they leave it's like baww. Kind of like the original Boq in Wicked and Link in Hairspray (Matthew Morrison ♥!). XD

And then I came home. And RE: my fucked up toe, being on my feet all day was probably not the best idea. XD Because other than the two toes, there is a growing buise on the top of my foot just over like ... the first four toes now.

SO ANYWAY, A QUICK FANGASM, IF YOU WILL.

I managed to find a couple of images from the Resident Evil Archives book and ahhh. :: FLAIL FLAIL FLAIL :: The lineart and color concept art ALL OF THE CONCEPT ART. I have a very LQ image of Carlos's lineart and his final design in color and oh god, I want the book now just to get better scans of that as well as all of the other awesome-looking character designs.

The ones I found were from the Japanese version of the book, but I'll probably get the book in English (since I wanna read all of the info and stuff in this thing SO MUCH) if I can find it for a not-ass-raping price (which is proving hard), I just hope all the same stuff is in that version and they didn't leave anything out. But oh man oh man VERY MUCH WANT especially for those character concepts and sketches. And I saw a couple of the artworks from the UC Art of Arts artbook and almost died from the hotness.

In other news, I. Fucked up my two small toes on my left foot very badly last night from an epic ramming into the leg of a chair. Usually this HAPPENS TO ME, and it hurts and I go FUCK and I walk it off and I'm better in an hour. It's been a day now, and other than hitting so hard I cried a little, it's all bruised and I can't walk without having to limp and it huuurting. Baww.

This is noteworthy because tomorrow is raid time and work at night. So I'm going to be on my feet from like ... 9:00am - ... 10:30pm. WILL I SURVIVE STAY TUNED.

This is still one of my favorite memoried posts ever. Lol druggie SEED RO. I like how I found this when I was going to find the posts from the 2 day SEED marathon I had made since that weekend was retarded.

In related news, I came . close to buying an Yzak/Lacus doujin last night. I may still wind up doing it because somehow, someway, I am still a complete weakling to temptation.

Also, GIP. I finally iconed that panel from the Zetsubou Sensei manga. XD

So RE: me remembering the Hana Yori Dango anime and what little I started of the manga from forever ago and deciding to reread it. I just kind of uh. Spent my free day yesterday finishing the whole thing. \o/

Mostly, it was as I expected and the anime actually followed it pretty far in terms of its adaptation, except the end of course. XD It was so nostalgic since we were really into the anime years ago and started buying the manga for it. But oh god, I would have said I loved the whole thing, but the amnesia arc just made me orz ... in that hilarious but OH COME ON WHY DID YOU DO THIS way.

And I'm all done on the project I was rambling about, all done and stickied on Yzak's journal in giant font. Now people should go and app Dearka. \o\ I'M SO RONERY, I have tons of icons for people and offer to buy people cookies and brownies since I can't bake them. Also paid time. And my undying love. And like I offered on IRC, maybe my boobs too.

But anyway, hopping back onto the work/theater scene, Lulu gave me a full schedule this week, which is win because more money that I need! And it's great, considering I'm a sub. I don't know what the next week will hold, but I'm hopeful for anything, whether it's Lulu calling or not. Martha I want your show's metaphorical body call meeeee. :((( I lol though, because when I was jumping back into this and my mom told me to go see Lulu, she told me the hilarious story about how she used to have the hots for my grandpa. She told my mom once "I could have been your step mother maybe." XD

Yes now, the show currently playing at that theater is Cry-Baby, which actually just had its opening night last week. It's not doing spectacular, but I really liked the show so with the upcoming Tony nominations this month, more sales depend on nominations. The regulars there are all hoping for something. XD I GOT SO SAD LAST NIGHT WHEN I WAS WORKING THOUGH, not only because I was on and had to miss Lost thank God for torrents but because currently, they're not planning to release a CD for the show. ;_; AND A COUPLE OF THOSE SONGS ARE SO CATCHY and ahhh I want a CD. The Watch Your Ass number, the dock scene, which consists of the lyrics featured in this post's subject line, and the finale. Also, the lead is a hottie, so that's always a plus to watching the show over and over. 8D

Insert vague references to feeling downgraded from a third wheel and stuff about the grass actually being greener and realizing that when you step back to the old lawn and look back go here. I'm happy about the latter though, because I was able to admit how ... unhappy I actually was with an experience. o/ Which in turn makes me wish I didn't feel like that but. XD The only thing I am worried about in the woe and worry department is that if I falter then something I've been actively trying to just STAY A STEP AHEAD OF will buttsex me from behind.

Today was fun, I ran some errands, dropped by the post office, randomly started reading Hana Yori Dango since I had only seen the anime years ago and never read the manga. And this week is apparently If You're A Weird Or Crazy Creepy Person Go And Hit On Tara And Make Her Sob week. What the fuck.

BUT IT IS MAY. My sister is going to have her second baby ANY TIME NOW, and the 9th Avenue Festival is in two weeks! I am excited and optimistic about the month.

Yesterday was fabulous. Party at brittyone's for her birthday. I LOVE CFUD MEETUPS. There was dorking and app spazzing and general lulz. I love you guys. ♥

And here are scans from the two Edge: Desire mangas. The covers and colored images as well as the black and whites at the end of each chapter. And a couple of pages from the Rey manga at the end. Since I don't think it was in Gundam ACE? If it was I ... totally missed it, but I do do that sometimes. XD EITHER WAY, I am going to scan ths story in full in the near future for a SEED post I am working on on my roleplay journal.
